Black High Priestess Mission Statement: Triple God-isis - Awo Iyami Ascending
As a noticeably Black Female educated with social Class uncommonly found in the poorer spectrum of society, eye noticed early on in life how marginalized Black Femininity is. More importantly eye noticed the unmistakable stereotypes of Black femininity manifested in the most subconscious levels of Sisters, and in Sisterhoods, for lack of a better example to follow.
Early criticism of modern religions, particularly the sects of Christianity I was most familiar with, afforded me the bravery to venture into Ancient Spirituality, and the worship of The Black Goddess, a concept most demonized in Christian morality, despite Black Women being the majority of the Christian congregation. This statistic alone deems Black Feminism the missing link in Black Liberation agendas.
One can measure a nation by how its women are treated, and we see White Supremacy functioning in the privileged conditions of White women globally and the elevation of White Femininity in Pop Culture, Media, Art & Entertainment. In turn we observe Black Nationality still nonexistent in Amerikkka due to the lack of value for Black Femininity within our own ethnic Communities, thus the near extinction of Black Femininity from Popular Media culture, save the propogated negative stereotypes supporting the White supremacist status quo.
The religious imperialism plaguing the Black Communities of Amerikkka is the root cause of Black Male chauvinism and the silencing of the Black Woman that is rampant in the male dominated lecture circuit of Black Consciousness and Revolution. My goal is to elevate Black Women to our proper throne by demonstrating Ancient Black Femininity with Spiritual morals that combat false religious ideals and futile revolutionary tactics. Celebrating the diversity of our accomplishments as Black Women without a Nation to defend our Rights will restore our culture's dignity. Setting a new standard for Black Masculinity will make tangible the achievements of Black Women despite internal and external oppression.
